I have a sinus infection and it's from the same bacteria that causes meningitis, but I was told not to worry unless it gets into the blood stream. Usually an infection that causes Meningitis enters through a skull fracture or head injury. I wasn't paying attention and bit my tongue. Could the infection enter the blood this way or am I just being paranoid?

Welcome to NeuroTalk!
I gather if you have a bacterial infection then you are taking treatment for that? If you don't feel as if you're getting better or responding to the treatment you should go back to your doctor. |
