Default Pain just above temporal

Yesterday I noticed a pain just above right temporal
Area. Only when I touch it lightly. Very sensitive. It is not muscular. It
Feels like a bruised vein although there has been no trauma. Has anyone heard of this? It is not a hair follicle or acne. It is a very different kind of pain

Hi Peytin

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

I don't know enough about neuroanatomy to make any helpful suggestions but hope that other members will be able to.

Best wishes.

Hi Peytin,

Welcome to the forum! Have you noticed that you have pain when there's a low pressure in the weather or bright lights, if you have this could be that you are photosensitive meaning the bright light as well as the low pressure in the weather is triggering pain in the temporal lobe.
If this problem has been going on for awhile I would advise you to have your family Dr. refer you to see a neurologist who can do a spect scan or Pet scan on you to see that everything is going on okay in the brain and no tumor is starting. You may want to also have an MRI.
I've had to have all of this done because I had brain surgery on the right temporal lobe for epilepsy and I can relate to the pain and migraines I had before the surgery. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You!

Sue
