Hello! I’m new here!
I have symptoms of widespread twitching, provoked cramps (never comes on its own) and slight muscle changes only on my right side od body (atrophies)-including right tongue, right forearm and thenar muscles, right calf and foot. I have visited numerous neuromuscular neurologists in the past 4 years since all this twitching and atrophy developed but they all said I’m fine. Those atrophies I see(because I know my body) they say are normal natural body asymmetry, but I know it has not been like that all the time. I had EMG-s and NCS, tyroid hormones, autoimmune pannel, minerals and B vitamins testings and all is clear. Though, EMG-s only revealed some high amplitudes in some muscles. There was no spontaneous activity on rest. I have brisk reflexes all over. I don’t know what else to do, i’ts really bothering me. Could it be some kind of neuropathy? Plese give me some advice! |

Hi Dott
Welcome to NeuroTalk . As far as I know neuropathy usually affects both sides of the body. I hope that other members will be able to come up with alternative suggestions. All the best.
