Default Concussion and Bipolar

Hi, I just joined this group today.

On 5th December 2019 I tripped on the pavement and landed on my nose. I was given the physical all clear but diagnosed with mild concussion. For the last 20 years I have been successfully managing atypical bipolar. Now three weeks after the fall I am still getting unusual sleep patterns and the return of a mild pressured feeling under my forehead. This leaves me feeling somewhat spaced out and is giving me mild short term memory problems.

Does anyone who also lives with bipolar have experience of concussion? If so how long did you find the effects of your concussion lasted?

Many thanks.

Jane
