Default How can we address the limitations in medical field?

I keep on wondering if there is a research on various limitations that we have in Medicine. Honestly can we do something? I was reading this post about transplant of heart but the outcome are not much longlasting. Anything to be done?

I suggest that you read the book "Bad Science" by Ben Goldacre.

Much of it is concerned with discussing the basis of evidence-based medicine in a way which does not assume any technical medical knowledge.
