My ortho says this about my left knee:
============== You are bone on bone in your medial and patellofemoral compartments. The brace that would work best for this would be a medial unloader brace. ============== I ordered the OA UNLOADING KNEE BRACE - MEDIAL, left leg, from OrthoMen (I'm new enough that I'm not allowed to post the URL, but it's at the ** site). I don't know if I'm getting the relief I should be getting. 1. Any thoughts on whether I've ordered the correct brace? 2. The brace is worn on the outer side of my left leg (and can't be worn on the inside, due to the knee hinge of the brace). I would have expected the brace to go on the inside of the leg. Thoughts? 3. Any thoughts on how I might get some relief for my left leg? Thanks. |
