Default Coronavirus and COVID-19 Forum or Thread?

Do we have a dedicated forum or thread for Coronavirus, COVID-19 and post-COVID-19? I've done a few searches and couldn't find anything.

Apologies in advance if this query is in the wrong place.

As far as I know there is no forum specifically concerned with Covid-19 and related topics.

Thanks, kiwi.

Would it be appropriate to start a COVID-19 thread or forum? I realize that it's early in the game, but some of the symptoms and longterm aftereffects appear to be neurological. I'm not an expert, of course.

A thread with Covid in the title will work, this forum is a good choice...

Thanks, Jomar.

Are you saying that I should start a thread here in the General Health Forum? Or should an administrator do it? I've been on NeuoTalk for a while, but I don't consider myself an "old hand" or senior member, and I don't have the knowledge (on any subject) that many fellow members have.

As you can tell, I'm moving slowly because I don't want to violate any of the norms of NeuroTalk, which has been so valuable to me and many others.

You can make a new thread or just continue with this one..
Health related Covid discussion is fine.
Per NT guidelines avoid the political part of it....

There's some information here--from the New England Journal of Medicine Journal Watch (December 10):

Quote:
FDA Advisers Recommend Authorization of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine

By Kelly Young

Edited by André Sofair, MD, MPH, and William E. Chavey, MD, MS

An FDA advisory committee voted on Thursday that the potential benefits of the Pfizer and BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine outweigh its risks for people ages 16 years and up.

Thanks, Jomar. I will start a new thread this morning. After I do, maybe you could 1) move agate's post over there and 2) close/delete this thread (to reduce confusion when people do searches).

Default Coronavirus, COVID-19 and Post-COVID-19 Syndrome

Nervous, this thread seems like a very good idea to me. Thank you!

And up-to-date information from the (US) CDC is available here:
