Hello everyone,
I am having trouble with some neurological symptoms for almost 5 years. It started with muscle weakness and progressed every year a little bit, and in the last year quite a lot. The weakness also caused scoliosis and other "physical" damages. But I'm here becasue of the latest EMG I did. The results od the exam were: "mild motor neuron loss in the tested areas". So my question is; does this motor neuron "loss" mean that it is a neuromuscluar disorder and will it progress further (more motor neuron loss) or can it stay at the "mild" level. In short - is it possible to lose motor neurons without having an neuromuscular disorder and does it always progress? Thank you for your time |

Hi XFret22
Welcome to the community. I have more questions than answers: How do know that what you have described is specific to motor neurons? Is it specific to that kind of neuron rather than some other neuronal type(s) or only to motor neurons. Best wishes.
