Ellie do you have a tendency to be loose jointed?
Maybe it's just out of alignment?
Is there a DO or DC nearby? or even a good PT should be able to check it/get it back in place for you.

My hip goes out of place but it's from an old injury after my butt and marble had a mishap during a drop seizure.

I'm going to my doctor in about 15 minutes, it has doubled in size and I got hardly any sleep at all due to pain.

I don't know what DO or DC means, hehe. :(

 Ellie

I am sooooooo sorry to see you suffering with all this stuff:(

It was just bizarre timing I guess. My bone itself is fine, she said the infection (Lyme) has gone to my lymph nodes and caused swelling which is causing swelling in that area.

Horray for more pills!:o

((((((((((((( Ellie )))))))))))))))

I'm so sorry you're suffering so.

You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Please let us know what the doctor says.

I will. :)

Between us and the entire online world, I didn't know I had lymph nodes there. I think it's funny mainly because I got an A in Anatomy. Dang my memory!

First of all have you ever been evaluated be an occupational therapist? They may be able to help with visual motor and perception skills. Have you been diagnosed with lyme? A very good freind of mine found a tick on herself and had the bulls eye rash but was not diagnosed with lyme until 6 years later. When she finally got the diagnosis, by a doctor in conneticut, he put a shunt into her arm I think and she received IV shots of antibiatics for 2 years. She also has to follow a diet almost like the Attkins diet because certain foods affect her. She will never be rid of lyme disease, right now it is dormant. I has flared up every now and then and she has to go for a series of antibiotics and follow the diet very strickly. She takes all kinds of vitamins and supplements. I could ask her for the list if you are interested. Have you ever had your b12 level tested? I bought a book call Could it be B12? by Sally M. Pacholok and she mentions some such about lyme and ms in there. She also has a blog www.fightb12deficiency.blogspot.com I hope you get some answers and feel better soon.

Ellie, that you for your post. I trip over everything too. What's worse is my driving. I am alway hear the shreek of brakes and angry honking horns as I do something stupid. [I] come to corner look and proceed only to have not seen an obvious car which I have just obstructed. And it's either brakes or horns.
But to get back to the tripping. I am not sure why I am doing it whether it's failing to see what I tripped over or whether I might not to be lifting my feet like I use to. I know I often no longer know where my foot is going. I have lost that mental ability to track where I am placing my foot. I think I know, but I don't. I intend to put it here or there and it just does something else. And my balance has disasppeared so I fall more often.
My problem is that my brean has been eaten away from multiple strokes caused by a genetic progresssive and fatal dementia.
I am not suggesting that you might have the same thing. I am only saying thanks for your post...I am no longer alone but have a tripping neuromate and I like having the company. Thanks.
