Default Bronchitis - help

Its been two weeks and I am still coughing up green stuff, mostly in the mornings but still stuffy and coughing the rest of the day.

Any tips on how to get rid of this bug?

Gonna call the doc too and let her know I am still sick.

Just looking for any home remedies that might work at this point.

Thanks....gotta go blow my nose now.

Gargle with hot salt water
soak in a hot bath
drink hot steamy drinks with honey and lemon

hot and steam helps to keep the gunk thinned out

cough syrup with guaifenesin
http://www.google.com/search?q=guaif...=revision&cd=1

sometimes spicy foods will help
garlic
vit C
lots of chicken soup
stay away from smokey places
fruits

if it doesn't affect any of your meds you can take up to 3000 or even more of vitamin C
at most you will get the runs - it's water soluble so excess will flush out.

Just found this site with info about vit c and dosages.

Shelley

I sure hope you start to feel better soon. I can totally relate to feeling
awful with broncitus, mine is asthma that is just a pain.

But I love the monkey things from Curious. So thanks to her too.
