Grin Small Fiber (Diabetic) Peripheral Neuropathy?

Does anyone out there have Small Fiber Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy?

Can you tell about the medication you are taking?

My dialy drug regiment is:

Mobic 15mg
Lyrica 300mg
Cymbalta 60mg
Glucophage 2000mg
Junuvia

The doctor had me on Pentoxifyline and I just could not take the side effects.

Tracy in a state of confusion.

Default

I have diabetis and PN, but am not on any of the meds you list. I take gabapentine for pain, and that's it. I also have a genetic condition that causes PN and do not know what really is causing the PN....sorry I cannot be of much help.

Default Tracy you aren't alone....

Go click on this 'blue site' and find out lots about those who have diabetic neuropathies and other types. Pay attention to the top of the page? Where it says 'Important Links/Stickies' and click on there, you will find out a lot about what PN'ers do to try and deal with the pain, and help heal the nerves as best we can.

Take a bit of time to read recent posts, some folks have been around a while and others are new like you. No one is unwelcome!
My own DH has diabetic PN, and while mild compared to mine? He can get as crabby as I do! He's doing better now in that he's gotten a better control of his 'portions'...does this make sense to you? I think it's a diabetes thing...
I truly hope you join us and aren't shy once you learn the lingo...That medical language is the hardest part, isn't it?
I'm looking forward to seeing you soon there! - j
