Default Looking for info on organic acid test

Our DD has developmental delays. She has smelled like fish since she was a baby.

Her organic acid urine test just came back and her pyruvic acid was high and her succinic (sp?) acid was also high. Her Neuorlogist wants a repeat urine and blood draw.

Her MRI was normal and her EEG was normal. Most of her other testing for metabolic disorders was normal.

Any advice on where to go with this? I hope I posted this in the correct place.

Melas? Something mitochondrial? Just a thought. Only a few neuros really understand those disorders. A friend of mine is getting tested for Melas and one of her tests if pyruvic acid so that is why I thought to put this out but I could be totally off base. But those disorders do cause delays and all sorts of wide-spread symptoms.
