I went to Mayo Clinic in 2005 I was 36 with stroke like symptoms. After a MRI and cat scan that were negative my neurologist sent me for a spect scan a radioactive tracer was injected in my arm. The test showed hypo perfusion of blood to my brain. My disease is called s.r.e.a.t. syndrome which stands for steroid responsive encephalopathy with autoimmune thyroiditis. Hi and welcome,
While I did not have what you have, I did have a pretty difficult case of Hashimotos thyroiditis which was hard to treat with thyroid meds. I kept going thyrotoxicosis and eventually had it taken out after 2 years of arguing with docs. Best thing I did. What happens in your situation? |
