Unhappy Pme

I have had Type 1 Diabetes and a form of Epilepsy that has left me in a wheelchair since about 7 years ago. They did a muscle biopsy looking for Mitochondrial Ragged Red Fibers and said I was clear about a year ago. Now I am having stroke like episodes on my left side and they want to do a Blood Panel for Mitocondrial results. I have Myoclonus and Epilepsy so I am wondering if this is Progessive Myoclonic Epilepsy which was diagnosed or something else? I am 57 and otherwise in good health. Thanks for any help you have to offer.
