trekker, you've gotten me thinking...

if people have been fertilizing with cow poop for hundreds of years, WHY is this happening now?

I can't help but wonder if the chemical fertilizer people engineered it...

Seriously, this is a big money maker for them....

Else, why would it happen now, and not before....

Good questions. I think we ought to contact Michael Moore and have him do an investigative report. Maybe the people of South Park were right "Blame Canada"! Their spinach seems to be fine...hmmmm....

Well, actually, I found a news blip from Canada saying that they are against importing American spinach.

HAH!! I knew it!

And for my second conspiracy theory....

I think that BT1 was the victim of the Big Dig and it's all being covered up by the governor so his lieutenant governor can get elected. JL is being held prizoner in the bowels of the state house being forced to create a virtual reality world where Bin Laden becomes a Mormon.

Post exactly

...and not just here in the USA...I've been leery of vegetables from 3rd world countries because of the lack of control over the "fertilizer" used. What caught my attention was that neither washing it nor cooking it would kill this strain. (Well, I'm sure you could boil it to smitherines maybe, but you wouldn't have spinach then.)

I can't eat spinach as I am anemic. Popeye was so wrong! Eating spinach creates an enzyme that binds the iron and the body throws them out together. (Peanuts and Black tea does the same thing, btw.) TC all. JD
