I have been very sick for 9 weeks now and have had every kind of test you can imagine. I would be curious to know if anybody out there has ever been terribly sick from a parasite infestation. I have been to south tx and mexico during the winter and when I got home after three weeks I started out with a really bad eye infection which then went to both eyes and from there on it just went on and on. I had a bone marrow test last thurs and should hear soon whether or not I have chronic leukemia or maybe (some of the drs said) maybe I got a parasite infestion that has really taken me over. My throat hurts so bad nothing is helping and I've been in the hospital twice. My wife is typing for me, I'm too sick. Any information that would seem to fit my problem would be appreciated. Don

Hi Don and Mrs. Don,
I'm so sorry you have been so sick. I know a person can get deathly ill from parasites. I have a good friend that is still sick from something she got in Central America. She now has Lupus. I just happened to read about a rare disease called Behcet Disease. www.american behcet disease association.com Also I know Lyme Disease is a very difficult disorder to diagnose. Were you in the 'woods' You can get a tick bite in the woods or off a deer etc. Hope you get answers. Take care, loretta |
