Default psp- progressive supranuclear palsy

Hi,
I was wondering if any of you know of anyone with this diagnosis. A good friend of mine was recently diagnosed with it. I have read about it on the psp foundation site. If so, has any type of treatment worked?
Thanks,
L

Sorry to say that there are no cures known at the present time.

Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Fact Sheet

Maybe you/we could ask DocJohn if he would think about making a PSP forum here at NeuroTalk?

Default Dignosed Last Month

My wife was also dignosed last month. First diagnosis in 2009 was Parkinson's but as time passed and we visited the University of Florida Movement and Neurological Disorder Clinic we received a diagnosis of PSP which I believe is correct. How long to you think you have actually had PSP before diagnosis? My wife started with falls in late 2008 early 2009.
