Default Stop the "Madness"

Quote:
Many psychiatrists diagnose a patient’s illness after a 45-50 minute interview, without doing any tests to rule out potential medical causes of psychiatric symptoms

This is why an increasing number of people Are saying to stop the "madness" of diagnosing in the dark. Take the time and really pay attention. Like in "Stop the Thyroid Madness", "It's Not Mental", "What Makes us Mad"

I don't think it should be too hard to get your doctor to listen to your concerns. If they don't listen after several tries, I'd go to a different doctor. Why waste your time and money on someone who doesn't listen to you.
