We've been approached by a young adult who is dating a person believed to have MPD/DID (Multiple Personality Disorder/Dissociative Identity Disorder).
This young adult is reluctant to discuss this with his/her own parents, as s/he has just recently come out, and the parents are not handling that well at all. We have plenty of experience with past & present GLBT friends/acquaintances/associates, but absolutely none with MPD/DID. Any advice, suggestions, pitfalls, anecdotes, wisdom? Doc
