Default neurofeedback problems

A relative had neurofeedback treatment, and now is suffering from severe negative side effects... headaches, depressions, anxiety, etc. We have been trying to find someone who can help get back to "normal." Thus far we have not been able to find a dr or specialist who knows how to reverse these treatments. Any ideas?

Default Hello!

Welcome to NT!

I wish I was more familiar with neurofeedback, but I did a forum search and found several posts which talk about it. Here's one in particular that discusses 2 different types:
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/post838872-6.html

The best way to pin down info on this is to use the 'search' feature near the top of the screen (in the bar that runs across). Type in 'Neurofeedback' and hit 'go' and it'll bring up these posts.

Hope this helps and I hope you get some answers.

It's great having you hear!
Caring,
Rae

Default Re: hello sck

I want to welcome you to Neuro Talk. This site has alot of good people on it. It is also full of compassion. I am not familiar with this treatment that you told us, but someone in the site will be along to help direct you. There may be others that have experience or knowledge about this kind of therapy. I am glad you stopped the therapy if it was giving such a negative result. I hope there will be other here soon to talk to you. glad you found us. ginnie
