Question Light Therapy for S.A.D.

Has anybody here every used light therapy for SAD (Seasonal Affect Disorder). I've never been diagnosed with it exactly because of all the underlying problems that need to be addressed and am working on now. Depression, anxiety... life I have always known that I feel much better on sunny days. I am starting to wonder if it is worth a try. I've heard the lights are expensive and may not be covered by insurance. Thanks in advance.

I haven't used it, I've heard of it....I'd like to see responses here myself, out of curiousity.

I believe that MrsD has used light therapy before. You might want to try to PM her.

Here is one of her threads on it.

And another one

Hope that helps.

Hi Gladys and Shelly

And thanks for the thread, Shelly. It was very interesting. I may have to ask her about it, if I get more serious about it.

Thanks again.
