Confused What's Wrong With Me?

I'm a 19 year old woman who feels progressively anxious in social settings. When I was 12, my mother moved us to a whole new state, and I made friends quickly, but few of the relationships have lasted. I often find myself avoiding friends just because I don't feel like talking to anyone. I look at my friend's other relationships and realize that they have real friendships, and I don't. I am very jealous of their other relationships, but when I am in a social setting, I feel extremely uncomfortable. But, I want best friends SOOOO badly, but don't know what it really means. I feel like I don't have anything interesting to talk about, and find it hard to make eye contact or feel emotionally involved in conversations.

Hi, there just joined this site and i have to say most of it so far i have learned alot from. I don't mean to disrespect the person that left a messge before me , but i get really frusterated when i see people giving advise to take medication before tryingother things. Like therapy, hypnotherapy ( there might be go subconscience things buried inside you don't know about), join facebook and find your old friend, etc..

Hope thishelped, if you wouldlike to reply since i'm new to this please leave a message in my mail box.

hi, i just wanted to be sure you know you are bringing up old posts.

it's fine to not agree with people's advice. they do have the right to give it. its their own opinion.

it may be best to just offer your own, without discrediting others.
