Hi there
19 is a hard age ! as a guy i was very sensetive always , and as a guy there was no crying... My first response was aggression , as in the fight or flight response . I confronted the person or people getting upset over tiny things. This started for me at 15 so at 16 i quit school just couldnt stand people and the hurt over tiny things. i am 40 now and still react the same, but i dont go out much and avoid people now so i can avoid any bad words or situations. some people just are as they are, your lucky now we have mental health help when i was 19 we really didnt it was all new good luck and just live , |
Hi katie
Welcome to Neruo Talk. I am sure you will get some responses from your question. Many folks are sensitive, and that doesn't mean you have real problem. I was over emotional my whole life, and at times I thought I was over the top. I became an artist, and to this day I am still sensitive. I am 60 years old. If you really are worried, don't hesitate to ask for council. It really can be a good tool to use, if you seem to cry too much. Sometimes depression can creep up, when life gets stressful. I wish you all the best in your education. Please feel free to join in to any dicussion. I found this site two years ago, and never left. Too many neat people, lots of infomation and compassion. Again Welcome Katie, hope you get alot of response. ginnie:)
