Default Distressed

I am extremely saddened by a recent occurance. I came face to face with a mountain lion recently. I escaped without injury. Apparently the same mountain lion returned to an adjacent street, where it was tranquilized with plans of relocation. I am heartbroken because the sob's killed this mountain lion (animal control) and this mountain lion never injured anyone. They shot him in the face and he had to be euthanized. He was a healthy 8 month old cat and never ever attempted to injure anyone. He would sit and observe only! As you can tell I am a huge animal lover and am very distressed over an innocent animal being killed. This is mountain lion territory and signs are posted everywhere. This has affected me in a huge way and I can't seem to find a way of overcoming this immense sadness over the loss of one of God's creatures. Any advice from other animal lovers out there?

Hi Hola, it's a terribly heartbreaking thing. Shows how far so called civilization has encroached yet again and creatures have less to travel so wander into people places. Spaces that were theirs long before they were ours. They pay for it sad to say.

Nothing to be done now, maybe they will be more careful next time.
