Hi Mist,

I'm sorry, I forget if you've tried SCD tailored to suit you? You have a fair amount of complex sugars in there. I know they they give me the same symptoms as you have if I eat too many. I've also, within the last year, found that whole grain rice will give me a headache faster than white rice.

Oh, dairy can mess me up to but very gradually. Dairy can be very sneaky!

Five years in and still learning about what my body likes and doesn't like. Still... feel better at 40 then I ever did at 30!

I'm thrilled for the new t-shirt and cake!

Nancy: Sorry to hear about the radioactive iodine.

Thanks Kim; I've experimented a bit with the SCD. The problem is I can't tolerate many of the staples (Meat, squash, yoghurt...The yoghurt probably b/c of corn's insidious presence, but still...) and I'm still peeling and cooking everything. I still notice if I don't...although I can have dreid fruit without noticing too much.

I can't seem to find a way to balance my diet...which I know is a problem. And then when I start feeling good...I'm scared to mess it up with new foods :P I have to avoid the cruciferous veggie group; squashes, potatoes, citrus, olives. After typing this I did realize I have slipped into relying on a lot of rice. I need to steam up some more apples and pears, More sugars!!! Argh.

Some days I just want to turn breatharian...you know, those freaky people from the 70's who claimed to live off of vibrations in the air or something like that? My youngest is also allergic to nuts, and oldest to dairy, so...diet is consuming and frustrating!!!
