Hi all!
I have been in recent email contact with a teenage patient in western Norway, who has Celiac Disease, gastric reflux, Asperger's Syndrome, ?Tourette's Syndrome, etc. She is also sensitive to casein & soy proteins. Her reflux is causing VCD/vocal cord dysfunction (an asthma mimic). I've recommended that she also try avoiding corn products. She's having a hard time finding corn-free, gluten-free products in Norway. And, in Norway, they say it's OK to eat (supposedly gluten-free) wheat starch that has some gluten still in there!! I've recommended that she avoid this weird wheat starch. Is anyone on this forum in Norway, and if yes, do you know where this gal can buy some gluten-free, corn-free, casein-free, soy-free pruducts, such as Tinkyada pastas, and brown rice? Does anyone know of a gluten-sensitivity/Celiac Disease group, in western Norway? Her town is Stavanger. Carol http://cantbreathesuspectvcd.com |
