Sorry to cut in to the 'puppy chat' but I just wanted to repeat here... just in case anyone missed it...

About the recipe thing I set up, I'm not expecting it to be the way we do things here... I just wanted to get it in place because I could do it very quickly and we could have a place to put things until it's decided what we're going to be doing with recipes in the long term.

It gives me a place to put things before they are completely lost to my mind.

Then, later on when we have a more permanent setup, anyone can copy over whatever useful information they want because it will already be here.

The things that I'm putting up right now are just MY most important/used things when it comes to cooking/baking... and so I think they might be really useful to someone today, or this weekend, or the holidays that are quickly approaching (Canadian Thanksgiving in 2 weeks).

Just getting my bit of curtains hung. And if someone doesn't like where I hung them, I'm perfectly okay with having them moved.

Thanks Kim! If we don't get a subforum, then we'll just sticky your index thread. Either way will work just fine. I haven't heard back yet on whether we can get a subforum.

Appreciate your efforts!

Cara

So, Cara, did you fall in love with one of the puppies?

Terriers are so full of energy

OK, you computer people - how do I add the smiley so you can see it all the time???

Anne

Lightbulb Anne...

I see you went to my flickr acct.... great toad story..

We suspect our toad has used the facilities for more than one season!
He sure knew where to find the water!

To use your graphic without it going into that attach mode...

You need to open a free Photobucket account, and link to it...

then you can do this:

I added to that acct BTW today... with my NEW speedy ISP ...hubby installed this afternoon.

Love your pictures, MrsD. The island is beautiful.

The toad story is a comment to one of the pictures on MrsD's site.
Anne

I like your toad too MrsD. Ds esp. liked it and thought it was a funny story. He loves many animals but toads are one of his favourites.

Well, the new puppies all looked the same, dark brown. They did still have their eyes closed, but they expected them open any day. So, really, they were not much to look at.

They did have some three month old pups, though, and they were really cute .

We had seen another breeders dogs at the dog show a few weeks back, and I thought hers were prettier, but we'd have to wait until the spring for her next litter. Of course, I am comparing a dog who was "all dressed up" for show, compared to a mom who was nursing new pups...so may not be a fair comparison.
