how common are the symptoms of nerve damage/tingling in hands & feet, & numbness?

I get numbb patches on my face and tingling in my hands as well. I had never connected them to a gluten sensitivity or CD though. It is indeed food for thought.
I wish I had known about this when I was much younger,,,,,. Then my life may have been much better health wise.
