I absolutely love apple pie. I was so dreading not having apple pie when I started the Gluten Free diet a couple of weeks ago. I did an on line search and one of the sites I found has this piecrust: http://www.glutenevolution.com/products.html#piecrust
It is sooo good. And so easy. I did the press in the pan method and then rolled the top crust and cut it into strips for the lattice on the top of the pie. Really outstanding. It's also flakey like the real stuff. Next, I'm trying the bread mix: http://www.glutenevolution.com/products.html#cornfree We're going to use our bread macine. I'll let you know what happens. Billye

I've been using this bread since it first came out. I actually made a loaf and 5 rolls yesterday.
I prefer to use the oven method as it's lighter and almost like wheat bread. It's a little denser if you use the bread machine. It's really easy to do the oven way if you use a roaster to rise the bread with. It cuts the time down in half. |
