Default rice Chex now gluten free

Woohoo!!! A mainstream cereal has gone gluten free.

General Mills, with the help of the Celiac Foundation, now makes their rice Chex GF. It will say gluten free right on the front of the box. If in doubt, read the ingredient list as the old recipe has not sold out yet.

Wonder who the next mainstream food company will be to jump on the GF bandwagon.

Thanks for this. It is great to hear.
I can only hope that some of the other mainstream manufacturers follwo their lead as it is sometimes near impossible to get a reasonable cereal for a resonable price.
My wife Jackie who is gluten intolerant gets very tired of eating just the one type of cornflakes she knows is gluten free.
These seem to go at the local supermarket so she then has to have rice crackers for breakfast which is just soooooooooooooo yummy..NOT.
Regards,
Rosco.
