My name is Jen and I'm a blender-aholic....
Well I tried the Party Blender and pooched out 2 in a matter of a few days...so they went back(as I posted a few replies back....then I purchased the Ultimate Chopper and so far so good, the thing is great, but I find it's kind of small, and I hate it when the stuff spills over the top of the bowl part when blending.....However I have found the most awesome blender/chopper and am saving my money for it for the beginning of next year(probably around Feb or March). It's called the Oster Fusion (see it here http://www.tvdepot.com/fusion/ - also see here http://www.amazon.com/Oster-600-Watt...&s=home-garden ) It would do so much more, plus I could use it to blend up smoothies for the rest of us too, and also grate cheese and so much more. It's at a Canadian store here for $129 but on sale right now for $99. Going to get it this week.

Well, my 2nd Party Blender blew. Four between the two of us!! What a dud.
I do have a stick blender that does a great job in a wide-mouthed jar... plus I can just put a lid on the jar if there are leftovers... I think I'll stick with that for now. I checked out that blender that you posted. It looks awesome!! I just don't want to put one more thing on my counter right now... esp. if I seem to be doing fine with the stick blender.
