the soap! I wouldn't have thought of that! On a side note, www.beantreesoap.com has the best gluten free soap...divine!

But back on topic, her reaction like that just stops after the mess and then she is fine. She has more severe reactions with long term exposure to gluten and those reactions take a lot longer to clear up, but for just one time exposures, that is what happens to her. Now, sometimes she has reactions to medications that make her act like she is just totally drugged up and crazy. Wild, non responsive and hyper beyond belief, so we don't give her meds unless we really really need to. The reaction is worse then the illness. I don't know if that is gluten or not? I haven't figured it all out yet.

Oh, and with kids and food flying, you are so right! They talk and eat and the spray of food just shoots around the room (and onto the plates of others) when they're young!
