Unhappy Headache Clinic

I have been suffering migraines for over 5 years and they are continuing to get worse. I have been on different medication but nothing is seems to help. Maxalt was working at one point but I had migraines everyday so it was defeating the purpose. I decided to go to a headach clinic and thhey told me I wasn't a candidate and I should see a regular neurologist. What makes me not a candidate for a heacache clinic?

WHO told you that you are not a candidate and why did they say you are not a candidate ??? If not a person with chronic migraines than who would be.... :-\

My Neuro has tried to get me to go to a migraine clinic but as of yet, I have never been to one.

The receptionist that I spoke with said the doctor said I was not a canidate. I don't know if those where her words or his words. I assumed I would be able to go based on my conditions.

I was asked to go to a headache clinic through a survey I filled out online. I know that they take into consideration your insurance and any other meds that you are taken or have taken. I had to turn the offer down unfortunately because the clinic was a few states away from me. It's kind of sad though, because I have only been suffering from migraines for three years now and sometimes I feel like I just can't take it anymore. The information may have been helpful.
