I had some questions for any of you. After seeing numerous doctors, and undergoing many tests, we have found out that I have syringomyelia. Since this is something so rare, I cannot find anyone that knows about it. In the mean time, I am suffering, and becoming depressed with the possibility of always feeling like this. Can you tell me if these are common symptoms: pain, numbness, tingling, muscle spasms? Also, my pain seems to be asymmetrical (right leg and left arm), is that possible? Also, since I animator to find anyone knowledgeable in this subject, can you tell me if there is supposed to be any physical limitations? What medications have you found that help? I am getting NO relief and I'm tired of nobody listening to me, I'm tired of being in pain! PLEASE HELP!!!

Dear Twinsplus3,
I'm so sorry you're in such pain. My best suggestion would be to re-post on the Arnold Chiari Malformation & Syringomyelia Forum Just click the mouse on the underliined link there. Hopefully you will find some answers. take care, Lara |
