Default Topamax dosage

For those of you who are also taking Topamax/Topiramate I am wondering how much of it you are taking and how you are taking it. Is it in 2 doses, AM and PM, or just one dose at night? I have two different doctors I work with since we have split residences between two 2 different countries [part of the year in Panama and part of the year in the USA] and am getting mixed messages. So, currently I have worked up from 25mg to 100mg and now switched from just PM dosing to taking it 50mg in the AM and 50mg in the PM. From what I see on the internet and on the drug pages that seems to be more the norm. Is that right?
