Hm. Sounds similar to the migraines I suffer. Some of the symptoms are the same, like the pain at base of neck/behind head, the type of pain, pain spreading to other parts etc. Maybe it's a form of migraine?
Have you talked to a doctor about this? |

Hi ,
I managed to find a great doctor who is helping me a lot. I have started to take amytriptyline which she hopes will stop the pain cycle that my body is in. She thinks the headaches may be very severe tension type headaches and that my body is so used to reacting in the same way when i feel tension, the medication is meant to block the cycle. The headaches have become more manageable but havent gone away completely after 3 months of taking them. The doctor also referred me to a physiotherapist and a neurologist so fingers crossed they give me some answers! Do you have the same cycle of headaches as i described? |

I forgot to say also I was told that the symptoms dont point to migrane because they are short and come and go, im sure there were some other symptoms that didnt match too.
