Default Migraine/ Tension Headache question?

I recently had a severe migraine over the weekend with nausea, throbbing pain, lethargic along with a low body temperature. Finally went way on Sunday night. I felt fine yesterday, but today I'm feeling lethargic again with a headache, but this time my head hurts on the top of my head (like a stabbing, burning feeling). I haven't taken anything yet to see if it will go away or not. Is this a reaction from the migraine or a tension headache? I'm currently at work now, so not sure what I can do about it.

Hi Cheryl,

The headache could be from both tension as well as the migraine. I have had wicked migraines on and off since I was a kid (52 now) this in turn caused my epilepsy. My Dr. told me that if there was a change in the weather and a low pressure was coming in that was one thing that would trigger my headaches because the air is heavier and that in turn effects the hormones and triggers the headaches. I was told to do cold water therapy which means put a cold washcloth on my face and the back of my neck 3 times a day at the same time and anytime I started to feel a headache or a seizure start. Since I started this my headaches have stopped except if we are going to get a bad rain storm then the headaches come no matter what. Try taking vitamin B12 1000 mcg. once a day the B12 helps calm the nerves down and it stops my headaches and seizures very well. Wishing you the best of luck and May God Bless You!

Sue
