Default Pulling Sensation in Right Temple

Hi there,

Ever since I was about 10 years old and really getting into reading, I began feeling a pulling sensation in my right temple after reading. Being middle aged now, I still struggle with this. I would like to read more, but my eyes and head don't seem to like it. Now this even happens when I watch TV.

I have an astigmatism and I am far-sighted. I try to keep my glasses' prescriptions current. At one point, I was diagnosed with convergence insufficiency, but doctors have told me that it is not severe and shouldn't cause problems.

I've discussed this with my optometrists and ophthalmologists over the years, but no one really seems able to help me with it. Overall, my vision in pretty good.

I just don't understand why reading or watching TV leads me to experiencing this pulling sensation in my right temple, which is uncomfortable and sometimes becomes a full blown headache.

Any ideas?

Kindly,

Karen Melinda
