Default Ow! Headache for several days now!

I am sort of a newbie to this site (dx with CIS of MS not on any meds) so imagine my surprize in finding a forum just for headaches.

Mine has been going on since Friday afternoon. Right temple and really sharp, stabbing pain not constant but keeps coming day and night when I try to sleep.

I have had this type of headache years ago but only last a few seconds and stop but this is just hanging on.

I have tried Advil and Tylenol (as per directions and not at the same time) and last night I tried inhaling peppermint oil which helped for a little while.

My Doctor is on vacation but will call later and see if the one covering for him can suggest something or a script if I go see him.

In the meantime; any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks!
