Did you happen to get really warm and dizzy before you got sick?

Gadolinium is used for MRI's. I don't have a problem with that at all. It has no iodine in it.

You might want to check to see if they use GAD for the CT scan. Do they ask you if you are allergic to fish when they ask the disqualifying questions?

No, I was never asked if I was allergic to fish. AFIAK. I am not. But my dad is. (Flat fish. Fish that swim like pancakes (horizontally).)

HI Pete,
Yes you can be allergic to Compazine..happens often with my patients. Ask for Zofran or Reglan for nausea..both available oral and IV if you are in the ER. RARELY do I see a patient allergic to another anti nausea med but be aware that can happen too.

Good luck
Mary Kay
