my dad had some problems with "shooter" pains in his temples and jaw. his neurologist diagnosed his as trigeminal nerve problems and prescribed carbatrol...it kept his terrible pain at bay. He couldnt even shave without these shooting pains...

I know this is an incredibly old thread, but by chance youre still around here, did you ever get any answers? Im a 37 year old female going down there very path, having the majority of these tests run as well without any definitive answers. Even did a cycle of Valtrax and no change. My pain started less than a week after having my next adjusted at the chiropractor.
