Hello Mandy. My name is Brian. I had a cyst removed from my brain and then 3 months later had the shunt put in for the hydrocephalus. Ever since I suffer from major depression as well.I know what you are going through. Have you went to see a psychiatrist? they can prescribe you some good meds for it. The best medicine is to get 15 to 20 minutes of sun each day. some things that are great for depression are salmon, walnuts, a good fish oil supplement, and if you want a natural cure instead of the pharmaceutical pills you can take st. johns wort or htp, or sam e which is the best. if u like to chat send me a reply.

Smile depression

[QUOTE=mandy17;682609]how are things? im coping ok[/Q Hello Mandy. I take depression meds and they only help a little. Just enough to get me out of bed for a little while. Like you, I still have the chronic pain everyday, living on 10 mg vicodin and 800 my ibuprofen. Don't help as much. I'm so sick of this **** and it's only been 4 years for me. I hope your doing ok.
