Hi I know this is not the syringomyelia board, I have not been able to get back on there since that site went down a while back, I have a concern and not really sure what to do or look for. I will tell my problem then if you can help please let me know.
I have a Thorasic Syrinx (syringomyelia) I had a shunt put in about 5 yrs ago, everything has been good witht he normal simptons, a couple of days ago I started having a small headache, then yesterday when I woke up I have a busted blood vessel in my left eye, today I got a little upset about something that made me cry, when I blew my nose It was bleeding pretty good, I checked to make sure I did not have a soar area in my nose, it appears the bleeding is coming from the left side from way up, maybe the sinus area. Should I call my neurologist? I don't want to run up any bills or take his time if this is nothing. I guess one of my questions would be how would I know if my thorasic shunt is not working right and causing the pressure? Not sure what to do. Donna |
