Default I haven't had any shunt related Problems.

I haven't had any shunt related problems since I was five or six, I am just on here to see if I maybe possibly could make friends and help others with hydro. My doctor told me if it keeps working as well as it is than we shouldn't have to revise it. Again, I am here to help.

Jennifer, hon'...I have said this before, and obviously, I have to say it again: Shunts are man-made devices and will break down over time, so if you expect to live to, say, 80 yo, you will need more surgery at some point, plain and simple. My shunt is older than you are, and yet, I know I will need another one at some point. It's merely a fact of life. It's also obvious to me that your doctor (is he a nsg??) doesn't specialize in hydro. That was a real stupid statement he made.
