Default Jailhouse Rock

Jailhouse Rock

Just to demonstrate that I can write a sober post, below are some nuts-and-bolts hydro questions. Please tell me if they are known or possible phenomena.

1. I often have difficulty with stability when standing, turning, or walking slowly. But the faster I go, up to a slow jog, the more stable I become. (I've jogged for many years.) It's as if rhythm helps carry me forward.

2. My mobility is much worse in the morning and in the summer, often causing my legs to feel like distant, stiff logs I must swing forward as a unit. The stiffness seems to be primarily in the muscle. I suspect dehydration for I have no sense of thirst and don't try to compensate for it due to *ahem* other hydro symptoms. (You mustn't pee during a security count!) However, I have a significant tremor under load in my left hand, (parkinsonian?) and possible frontal release automatisms in both hands that turned delicious with yoga as taught by Yogani

3. If I don't exercise regularly, I start "disappearing" cognitively and mobility-wise, and if I don't at least keep my trunk and head upright a couple hours a day, the process goes much quicker. Could this possibly be due to CSF flow between cranium and spine? I don't tolerate laying prone too long, but also have a need for short naps, which I theorize might be due to the depletion of glucose (fuel) in my compromised frontal lobes. Gotta recharge!

What were once episodic symptoms have become more chronic since they caused me to lose my job and be tossed unceremoniously into a punishment cellblock. Here, I have little exercise time and no chair in my cell. The prison refuses to help or accommodate my disabilities in any way, and chooses instead to angrily deny anything is wrong. Well, it saves money in the short term, I suppose. I've been without a job or income for over a year now. Thank goodness for yoga and the compassion of other inmates, for love makes all the difference. I scamper (or wobble) around the cellblock,, spreading a pixy dust of smiles. I take silliness to a high art, and don't care if people laugh with or at me, for despite all my symptoms, I've learned that what you can laugh at you can live with. It's all good.

My Facebook page is under Roy Eric Wahlberg, Friend me. (Do those pants make my southern end look big?)

Oh, and a medium-res copy of my MRI is online at:

Does that scan reflect a commodious mind, or just a commode in my brain? Sorry!
