Well - i guess this question badly -
-
i had an incident where i broke the bathyub with my head -- among other things !
-
i am not a good candidate for shunting - so i wenthrough several courses of pt and did improve quite a bit -
-
the almost daily headaches and my continuing to injure myself are not manageable for me -
-
i was hoping to find was a way to manage myself nore effectively --
-
the medical sites i searched had nothing positive to say about not treating - or shunting -
-
is this really potentially fatal if left untreated ?
-
thanks for your help --- dvora

ok - the neuro went over my old reports and films and the new ones too - did a physical exam --
-
even had me spell words - backwords--
---------
results --- ms has progressed -- hydrocephalus progressed but not drastically --
-
cognitive deterioriation mor rapid -- probably why i cannot figure out this posting board --
-
vision is worse too --
and --
now i also have fibromyalgia !
-
so i will go there and read about it -- like i need something els -- i had been blaming that pain on the ms--
-
so to answer my original question -- it is possible but unlikely to die from untreated hydrcephalus --
-
but - not suddenly -- if it gets much worse there are more invasive treatments they can do -
-
so i can stop fixating on that !
-
thanks for this group being here ---
