In 2009 I had a hydro VP shunt fitted for communicating hydro', and it is working OK, and I have been improving.
Recently, however, the abdominal discomfort has become more troublesome. It feels like someone is pulling on your pee tube.... never unbearable, but it does stop you moving for a moment or two while it subsides. It seems to be worsening. I seem to want to have to pee a lot, too (possibly unrelatedted) The abdominal discomfort began immediately after the shunt was fitted in 2009. Why is it worsening though, I wonder? And would a VP shunt arrangement be a better option? I am 53 years old, and still in reasonable shape. Thanks. Zubenelgenubi |
