Default I finally figured out....

where everyone was at! I'm so excited! I've spent the past hour catching up on everyone! I missed my daily contact with all of you who understand what my kiddo and family goes through everyday!

Quick update...
Molly was in the PICU following her temporal/parietal resection and meningitis, waiting for a brain abcess to disappear so her shunt could be internalized. She finally got internalized August 9th and went home Aug 22nd, after 3 months in the PICU! We'd been doing good and were in the process of moving back to Nebraska when she caught a cold last week and wound up in the PICU in Omaha with pneumonia.

Now we're fighting with the neurosurgeon in Omaha, trying to convince him that this isn't related to her shunt! Ah, the neverending battle of parent vs doctor!

Hi Lori, glad you found the gang again. I just found them also, had no idea there was another board going in the interim. Keep your chin up, I'll be praying for you guys. Hugs to you and Molly!
