Smirk Hypothyroid and Hydrocephalus

I've had a lot of shunt issues over the last 10 years that have put a lot of stress on my body. Over the last several weeks, I've been feeling more tired and it was recommended by a nurse practitioner colleague that I get my thyroid level checked. I have not family history or risk factors but my doctor said that it could be related to all that my body has been through. In addition to a TSH level, he ordered a hemoglobin A1C, Lyme antibodies, ESR and CBC. I'm still awaiting the results so it still could be allergies, anemia, or just plain too much stress but I wanted to ask if anyone else has had thyroid issues without any family history or previous history.
