I hope everything works out. I hate that grey in between state of things are not quite ok, but it isn't really bad. It seems like he still has symptoms worth talking to someone, do you have someone in your surgeon's office you could just talk to? We are pretty comfortable talking the the nurses on call during weekdays (they know my kid, unlike the residents and fellows).
